The China "UA-Guinness" Innovation Grand Prix is a professional event led and guided by Professor Sun Yinghao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the chairman of the Chinese Medical Association Urology Branch (CUA), and the former chairman of the Asian Urology Association (UAA). Contest judges

The Eastern Division received nearly 60 innovative projects from 7 provinces and cities including Shandong, Jiangxi, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui. The inventors of these projects included doctors and nurses from hospitals and medical schools. And clinical engineering and technical personnel, as well as engineering and technical experts from universities and research institutes, and R&D personnel from medical device companies. After review by experts from the Science Committee of the competition, a total of 17 innovative projects were shortlisted for the on-site roadshow PK in the Eastern Division.
